Some Of The Best Marinas In Miami Beach

Miami Beach, America's most famous and historic beach front city is the home to four marinas. Many boaters like to stay in Miami Beach because the city is just across from Miami itself. These Marinas are located within easy driving distance of Miami International Airport and I-95. They are also within walking distance of Miami Beach's famous beaches and downtown and accessible to the city's famous nightlife.

The Miami Beach Marina is located on Alton Road right off the MacArthur Causeway which links Miami to Miami beach. This conveniently located facility is close to the ocean for easy access to fishing and the beach.

The Palm Bay Marina and Yacht Club is a sort of country club for boat owners located on Miami Beach's famed Upper East Side. The fifty slip marina is nestled in the middle of an exclusive residential neighborhood. This neighborhood features a lush private park on the edge of Biscayne Bay for use by the members. Club amenities include a pool with cushioned lounges, barbecue pits, a state of the art gym, a lighted tennis court and a Captain's lounge with big screen TV, and a bar.

As one would expect the facilities offered to boaters are excellent here. There's a deepwater approach, slips up to 100 feet in length, 30, 50 and 100 amp electrical service, cable TV with free HBO & Showtime, 24 hour security including a roving guard at night, restrooms, showers, laundry facilities, ice machines, limousine and taxi services to take people downtown, pump out facilities, a fish cleaning station, marine mechanics and underwater divers are on call.

The Consolidated Yacht Corporation at 2051 NW 11th Street in Miami manufactures Egret. It also services Florida boats and yachts.

The Haulover Beach Park Marina is operated by the Miami Dade country government it's located at 108000 Collins Avenue in Miami Beach. This marina is really conveniently located between the Intracoastal Waterway and the Atlantic Ocean so it's a great location for fishermen. The Marina is part of a 180 acre public park owned and operated by the county. It's mainly used by commercial charter fishermen but private boaters can rent slips as well.

The facilities at Haulover Beach Accommodate Florida boats up to 90 feet in length, the facilities available include: boat launching ramps, a bait & tackle shop, commercial slips, a marine store, a fish cleaning area, freshwater hookups, gasoline, diesel fuel, pump out, dry rack storage, restrooms, wetslips and towboat service.

Transient boaters are welcome at Haulover Beach but there are some drawbacks. No cable TV service is available and electrical hookups are limited to 50 amps and under.
